A joint NATO command operating from a U.S. Navy installation needed secure, high-capacity office space to keep its operations running, on a short timeline and with strict functional requirements. The building had to be temporary, leased rather than purchased, and still hold up to mission-critical daily use.

The Modular Solution
Nadler engineered, manufactured and delivered a custom two-story modular office building of 31,680 sq ft, built to government-grade standards, with an elevator and furnished offices. The sections were manufactured while the site contractor prepared the pad, then craned into place by the site contractor as a single building, on schedule.
- Two stories, one footprint. A second floor doubles the office space on the same base footprint, which matters where secure ground is limited.
- Secure, high-capacity workspace. Open work areas, private offices, a conference room, an IT help desk, multi-stall accessible restrooms and a break room, laid out for the command’s daily work with room for evolving requirements.
- An elevator to the second floor. Every office on both floors is reachable by every person, which an office building on a federal installation requires.
- Delivered furnished. Nadler furnished the building: open-plan workstations, private offices with desks, storage and monitor arms, a conference room with wall displays, and a break room with a full kitchen. The command moved into working space, not empty rooms.
- Flexible layout. The interior can be reconfigured as the mission changes, without a new building.
- Government-grade construction. Built to the standards a federal installation requires and durable enough for continuous use.
- Leased, not purchased. A lease covers a temporary need without a capital purchase, and the building is removed when the mission moves on.
